Free Software For Schools
We are constantly receiving requests from Teachers to compile a list of software that is available for free for schools.
We would encourage anyone who can suggest a free software product to post it here with a short discription and suggested use if possible.
Let's hope we can have the ultimate list here for schools within a few months!
Thanks!
Tomás

Excellent idea Fluirse. How about you send us out a list of about 5/6 useful relevant sites in exchange for every email address we send you in good faith?
Not quite sure what you're suggestion means. Do you mean that everyone that signs up to our newsletter gets e-mailed a list of useful software or is it that you would e-mail us and we would reply with a list of software?
We would prefer to keep that list here if possible so that others can share.
While downloading the latest version of an HTML editor that I use (CoffeeCup), I discovered they have an offer of some free programs for schools. That got me searching to see if I could find other similar offers, whereupon, I found your site.
Here is the URL for CoffeeCup's offer: http://www.coffeecup.com/k12/
The package includes five programs: "Virtual Site Designer," "Web Calendar," "News Flash," "Form Builder," and "Photo Gallery."
On a separate note, since your purpose is to promote education (which, one would hope, would include better spelling and grammar skills), you should probably proofread your text. You will find that "Teachers" should be "teachers" (there is no reason to use the capital T in this case), and "discription" should be "description" (simple spelling mistake).
