On completion of this course, you will have the skills you need to use technology in the classroom. Google Educator Level 1 gives you the opportunity to take the first steps towards acquiring the skills you need to use G-Suite for Education apps in the  classroom. When it comes to technology in the classroom it is important that a teacher starts with the learning objectives and then chooses the right tool for the job. In this course you will be taken on a step by step journey to enable you to understand what each Google app does and how it can be applied to teaching, learning and assessment.

COURSE DETAILS 

• Target Audience: Teachers looking to gain the advanced skills required for the use of G-Suite for Education apps in the classroom. Teachers wanting to create interactive lessons using Google Maps and Google Slides
• Equipment Required: All our courses are accessible through PC, Laptop, iPad, Tablet and Mobile devices. Internet access required with broadband speeds recommended
• Prerequisites or Requirements: Suitable for all primary school teachers. If you do not have a gmail account or access to one we would suggest you set one up to be able to fully participate throughout the course
• Duration: All Flúirse Online Teacher Summer Courses are available from July 4th- August 19th.  Each course requires approximately 20 hours of training and engagement
