To qualify for your EPV days* you can select from any of our practical and beneficial suite of courses. The more courses you select, the more EPV days you receive:

  • 1 online course – 3 EPV days entitlement
  • 2 online courses – 4 EPV days entitlement
  • 3 online courses – 5 EPV days entitlement

All our courses are run in accordance with the Department of Education and Skills criteria. Courses begin on Monday, 4th July 2022 and must be completed by Friday, 19th August 2022 at 5.00pm.

Each course requires approximately 20 hours of study. The Discussion forums are facilitated by expert moderators. When you have successfully completed your course you will receive your CPD Certificate.

FSC2232 Fostering Growth Mindset and Grit in the Classroom

The purpose of this course is to explain mindset theory and introduce you to fixed and growth mindset as well as grit. In the process, we demonstrate some basic techniques that can be implemented in your classroom, and recommend ways in which you can foster grit in your students. A growth mindset combined with grit can improve students’ well-being and grades.

  • Target Audience: Teachers looking to foster growth-mindset techniques that can be implemented in the classroom
  • Equipment Required: All our courses are accessible through PC, Laptop, iPad, Tablet and Mobile devices. Internet access required with broadband speeds recommended
  • Prerequisites or Requirements: Suitable for all primary school teachers
